  • Clients who engage us to contact their customers, users, or leads as a service provider (see Section 2.2). In those cases, our client is the source of the data and the primary relationship holder.

2.1 When We Interact With Our Own Prospects and Clients

  • Schedule calls/meetings or demos
  • Deliver proposals, audits, or recommendations

2.2 When We Contact People On Behalf of Our Clients (Processor/Service-Provider Role)

We may perform outreach, support, scheduling/coordination, or similar communications for a variety of business use cases and industries (e.g., follow-ups with prior customers or users, support updates, re-engagement, satisfaction checks). In these engagements:

  • We use personal data only to perform services for that client and as permitted by law.
  • We do not market Tandem’s services to those individuals.
  • We act according to our client’s instructions and our agreement with them.

We process information based on legitimate interests, consent (where required), contract performance, or legal obligations.

3. SMS/Text Messaging Program

If you opt in to receive text messages from us (or from us acting on a client’s behalf):

  • Purpose: conversational outreach, service/support updates, scheduling/coordination, reminders, and messages relevant to your existing or prior relationship or expressed interest.
  • Frequency: varies by conversation and program.
  • Cost: message & data rates may apply.
  • Opt-out: text STOP to end. You may also reply END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT.
  • Help: text HELP for help or email privacy@tandemdataconsulting.com.
  • Consent: your consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.
  • Data stored: phone number, message content/metadata, timestamps, and opt-in/opt-out status needed to operate and document the program.
  • Compliance: we honor applicable TCPA and A2P/10DLC requirements.

Required carrier statement: We do not sell or share SMS originator opt-in data or consent with third parties. Limited sharing with our messaging vendors may occur solely to route/deliver messages and maintain compliance.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share with:

  • Service providers/vendors (e.g., hosting, email, analytics, advertising, CRM, messaging) strictly to operate our Services—use is limited to performing those services.
  • Advertising/analytics partners (e.g., hashed identifiers or event data) to measure and improve campaigns.

Exception for SMS consent data: we do not sell or share SMS opt-in/consent data; it may be shared only with messaging vendors for routing/delivery/compliance.

5. Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies

We and our partners use these to remember preferences, analyze usage, and measure/optimize marketing. Examples include TikTok Pixel, Meta Pixel, and Google Analytics. Manage cookies in your browser; some platforms also offer preference tools.

  • Text: reply STOP to opt out; HELP for help.
  • Cookies: manage in your browser settings.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information as long as reasonably necessary to provide Services or perform client work, fulfill this Policy’s purposes, comply with legal/tax/accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify where feasible.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If a child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.
